Effective 5/5/14, the Lacey Soccer Club approved a new criminal background check procedure to be utilized for ALL coaches within the club.  This new procedure shall replace the previous fingerprinting process that was used by the club.

You can also access the Lacey Township website (www.laceytownship.org), click on the "recreation department" (left side) and then click on "sporting organizations".  At the top of the sporting organizations page, you can click here where indicated in the sentence "If you are a volunteer coach, please click here to process your background check".
 
The entire process only takes a few minutes and can be done on-line while in the comfort of your own home.  The cost of the process is only $12 per application (less than half of what it cost to have fingerprints done) and the turnaround time for results is much faster. 
 
Once you have completed the process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from [email protected] with your receipt.  Please forward this receipt to the Lacey Soccer Club Treasurer (Scott Larew) for reimbursement. 
 
There is an archive feature that allows the Lacey Soccer Club to verify which coaches have had their background checks completed and the dates they checks were done.  The Lacey Soccer Club mandates that all coaches have their criminal background checks done upon inception of becoming a coach within the club and must continue to do so every 3 years thereafter.  Failure to adhere to this rule shall result in removal from your coaching position - no exceptions!
